What are your minimum order quantities (MOQ)?

  • For initial orders, our MOQ is $300 (~26 pieces) which can include any mix of sizes and colors
  • For returning orders, our MOQ is $150 which can include any mix of sizes and colors
  • For custom designs, please order at least 10 of the custom design (any mix of sizes) since there's some time involved in configuring and printing the custom vinyl heat transfers per order

What are your unit prices?

  • For blank PupLids, prices start at $10.00 for XXS, XS, and Small, and increase to $10.50 for Medium, Large, and matching human hats (Youth and Adult sizes).
  • For custom-designed items, there is a $1.50 additional charge per item, along with a one-time $40 custom design fee. This fee covers the processing of your image, setting it up in our system, and creating test prints for your approval.
  • We do offer price breaks for orders exceeding 100 and 500 items. For orders of 100 to 500 items, there is a reduction of $0.50 per item. Orders exceeding 500 items receive a reduction of $1.00 per item.

What kind of file type should my custom design be?

  • Custom images should be high resolution and preferably in vector format, such as Adobe Illustrator. If not possible, PNG or JPG.
  • Wider designs tend to work better than taller ones.

Where can I sell my hats?

  • Custom-designed PupLids and Name Drop PupLids can be sold on any e-commerce site, but PupLid designs can only be sold in your retail store or at in-person events.

What kind of turnaround time do you have?

  • The first order of a new design takes about a week to set up as we do some test prints with it. Once the order is placed and is paid, we typically ship in two weeks or less.

What kind of designs are you able to print or not able to print?

  • We use a Roland machine to make vinyl heat transfers for our trucker hats. Solid shapes (circles and rectangles like our own designs) work best and there is no limit on detail or color if the overall shape is solid. Additionally, we offer a Direct to Film (DTF) option for more intricate designs or smaller text, which may extend the delivery time by one week and incur an extra cost of $20.

How many of each size should I buy?

Here's a basic size distribution for initial orders of our 7 sizes that have worked for others:

  • TINY: 5%
  • XXS: 10%
  • XS: 10%
  • S: 15%
  • M: 20%
  • L: 35%
  • XL: 5%

Alongside the PupLids, 20% of wholesalers purchase matching human hats.

Can you include tester products for printers/embroiderers?

Yes, we would be happy to include tester products for printers and embroiderers. Please reach out to wholesales@puplid.com with your order number when you make your first order, and we'll make sure to include the tester products for you.

How do backorders work?

Backorders require full payment when you place the order, subject to any discounts offered. The estimated delivery date will be provided, and while we endeavor to ship backordered items as soon as they are available, delays may happen. If timeline for delivery changes, you will be notified by PupLid via email.

What happens if there are delays?

If your order includes both in-stock items and backordered items, we will ship the available products first. The backordered items will be shipped separately when they become available. Please note there may be delays due to factors outside our control.

What happens if my order includes both in-stock and preorder or backorder items?

If your order contains both in-stock items and those available on backorder, we will ship the in-stock items immediately. The backordered items will be shipped in a separate package as soon as they become available. This ensures you receive your products as efficiently as possible.
